No More wheelies or stunts for Kimberly and No More Broken Bones (2 Broken Legs and 2 Broken Ankles) for her. She thought about Tandem Stunting for 2008 as well as racing cars at Cedarlake Speedway but, instead was on the back of her husband's R1 as a passenger and had an accident and ended up taking a ride in the ambulance to one hospital and then airlifted to another hospital.(Rods,Plates,bands, and srews in her legs/ankles with 13 screws in one leg/ankle and 14 screws in the other leg/ankle)she is not sure how many feet that she had tumbled and slid across the pavement but, was very fortunate to not have any road rash and to be wearing all of her protective gear from head to toe including the armor and wearing her helmet(No head injuries, No neck or Spinal injuries).She wore a Tank Top, FOX hoody, velour black pants and on top of that, Kimberly wore her leather racing motorcycle pants, motorcycle boots, her pink ICON motorcycle jacket with armor, gloves and most importantly, a helmet. Wearing just regular street clothing is not going to save you from road rash or broken bones.LADIES: Wearing just a sweatshirt, jeans,tennis shoes or regular shoes, tank tops, short cute skirts and sandals and no helmet is not going to save your life.MEN: RIDE SAFE and Wear your gear, and make sure your passenger is well protected.
Now, Kimberly will have to get all new gear because, her helmet is scratched up with the faceshield being scratched up and the back of her pink helmet there are spots where the pink paint use to be and all that is showing is the metal,and her gear is all torn from the ambulance/hospital people cutting her clothing off. One thing Kimberly would change is buying motocycle boots that are to your knees with armor shields and a more heavily motorcycle gear. Other than that, all doctors and surgeons, nurses, and people thought that Kimberly was very lucky that her accident could have been alot worse and she was fortunate enough to have her own private room for 4 days.Before, you know it, she will be fully recovered and back on her feet walking and in more films instead of stunts/wheelies/racing cars.
