I like chatting with fun people. I am open to most ideas so if you think you like what you see don't be afraid to ask. ;-)Ya know it's amazing how the hits to my page went up when I was using that old pic of me at 14....This video has the first piece of music I ever got paid to write on it from back in 1992. Thanks to my friend Danny for posting it!
Older stuff: Yes, Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin, Peter Gabriel, Kevin Gilbert, Supertramp, Beatles, Eagles, Genesis, Allman Brothers, etc etc. Newer stuff: Tool, Radiohead, Puddle of Mudd, Lostprophets, Queens of the Stone Age, Nickelback, Buckcherry, Lacuna Coil, Breaking Benjamin, Army of Anyone, AFI, Evanescence, Puscifer, Tantric, Hinder, Adema, Muse, tons more... (New music happens so often that there is no way I can keep this list current with what I listen to) I love Trance and Techno stuff for driving or when I am in the right mood. It's easier to say I do NOT care for most Rap, Screamo, Opera, C/W or Reggae. Other than that, I'm pretty much into anything with a melody.
LOTR! Contact is one of my faves... I really don't see that many movies these days. I spend half my adult life in dark rooms staring at screens. Somehow that isn't really what I want to do when I have free time. If I do go see movies, I like comedies, sci-fi, and lighter fare.
Don't watch much of it.
Tolkien, Asimov, Clarke, Niven, any good sci-fi or sci fantasy. Also find myself reading some American history stuff like Lewis and Clark and miscellaneous bios. Rather a weird assortment lately. I usually have at least 2 books in progress at any time.
J. Rod Basehore, my high school drama teacher. I owe my career and probably my sanity to him. He and his wife are still wonderful friends and I visit them a couple of times a year. He was there for me at a time in my life when I needed a mentor. I will always be grateful to him.
