Well boy where do i start LOL!!!!!! I Like 2 go out n socialise with my friends, go out clubbing/raving all dat nonsense, I also happen 2 support the BEST football team in the world...!!!!!!!!!!!!!ARSENAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But cut a long story short lol...I've been Djing Garage/Grime Hip-Hop, R&B,& other Genres of music for about 5 years nowI was into underground music from young going because me olding brothers & sisters would go raving & buy tapepacks like Sidewinder, Heltor Skeltor, Slammin Vinyl, Moondance etc then eventully i was buying my own tapepacks, listening 2 da pirates, if i was feeling a tune then i'd go out n buy it, even b4 i had a set of decks lolThen i started listening 2 Garage.... & i would lock in to Radio on a regular & buy all the tapepacks like Sun City, Garage Fever & Nation, Sidewinders etcWhen i saved enough 2 buy my own decks, I started 2 buy vinyl mostly Old Skool Garage & D&B then a couple of people i grew up with from day DoeLow, TheOne, L.E.D came together started doin Tapes & lil sets in, house partys, free yards, youth centers etc we met up with a couple of other members along da way ASB, Dj MDK & Double M) By this time Garage as we knew it started 2 get Darker! We Came up wid a name Militant Army (Mili Man Dem) & we started 2 get a nice responce getting more promotion by doin Radio sets, Under 18's Venues etcDue 2 certain circumstances & arguments man dem started & had 2 'do their own thing'
Then 4 a short while after all da madness lol i was just workin, doin birthdays partys, private gigs so weren't really doing it properly and then got my self a lil residency & other bookings playing mostly R&B Hip-Hop,
But i was still in touch with my Grime/Garage & wouldn't be afraid 2 drop a few 'Bangers' here & there 2 switch it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!I linked up with man Dem from round my ends :
RDM (REAL Dangerous Minds) late 2005 members including, Twissman, HuntaPro, Herbzie HiGrade, T.E.R, Supernova, Mastermind & Danger Dan but i knew them man from School & the days off when Scandalous were about (Bigup Section 18)So we linked up 2 do a couple of sets on Getgrime, things started popping so we had our own show Wednesdays 8-10 also we had landed further slots on other stations such as, Heat Fm Sundays 8-10, Slew Dem Radio Tuedays 8-10 whilst various members from the crew had guest slots on Laylow Fm Manic Fm, until eventully i was given my own slot on Manic Fm 8-10 on Sndays b4 Marcus Nasty.......So things wee going smoothly for RDM with Radio, Promotion etc then March 2007 whilst @ work i was taken Ill & rushed 2 hospital where i woke up 2 Days later from where i was in a Diabetic Coma, which was unfortunatly was the reason i was Ill & @ hospital i waas diagnosed Diabetic Type 1 (2all you's that don't know its where you need 2 inject insiliin) which pysically & mentall was FUCKED (lol) for me as i didnt know what it meant & what effects it will lead.....
I still went to a few radio shows after i was diagnosed but i wanted to take a break & sort somethings out in my life.I truly believe in supporting UK's talent so 2007 was a busy year 4me still with so much coming out from the Grime/Dubstep Scene (with all the drama lol)as well as me buying Grime Vinyl & MixCDs i still kept in touch with the latest Bangers in R&B, Hip Hop, etcI currently own over 700 + Vinyls & counting with a big selection of CD'S also, but its all about the 'feel' of the wax!!!!!!!!PRODUCERS & LABELS!!!!!BRING BACK VINYL!2008 is a different thing ITS ALOT!!!! I feel i want & need 2 reach bigger goals musically wise i know what i can do & acheive, ALOT of people say to me 'Seany your mixing tight, on point'I feel i am on the same level if not better then alot of these Dj's out there either in bars & clubs or on Pirate/ Legal Radio now its my time 2 show what i can do & prove it!!!!!And if any promoter's or station managers that might be reading this you can contact me either thru here or adding & contacting me on msn:
