10/06-12/07 INDEFINITE HIATUS
I started this project at the five year anniversary of my mother's battle with terminal cancer as a means to cope with the situation and manage my feelings. My performances are a series of ritual healing prayers made with the metaphysical intention of transmitting positive energy towards my mother. I use icons of musical theater, noise performance and cultural ceremony to coax out the demons from my body, beat them and bury them beneath the ground. Over the course of the last year my mother's cancerous numbers have gone from those impending on death to those nearing remission. Because of this I strongly believe in the power of energy. I do not like to do this often, only for special occasions or when otherwise appropriate or needed. This prayer has been a carrier of many of my accomplishments and joys, however it is just as much so my burden.

Special limited edition record, set in the heaviest weight possible for a 7" record cased in a high quality card stock gate fold jacket with metallic gold foil print similar to what you may have seen on the cover of high fashion magazines and records from the sixties. "Reaching for Vertebrae" is one of the most difficult songs in history to ever be committed to vinyl platting and possibly. Side 2 is a special reprise of the song "Crying at the End of the Night," from my first full length "Idiot Who Feeds the Grapes." Recorded in stereo, played in high fidelity.
