&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&n bsp&nbsp Trexel released his all instrumental debut WEARING A GROOVE in March of 1997. Combining elements of dramatic hard rock, new age acoustic, and blues, this album has received airplay in France, Spain, Australia, Sweden, and Japan as well as on several domestic films and television shows.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&n bsp&nbsp In May 2000, Trexel released his second instrumental CD entitled UNDER THE RADAR. UNDER THE RADAR features a similar mix of dramatic hard rock and acoustic songs. "My goal on the new album is to combine sonic textures and memorable melodies to create an emotional impact on the listener. I want to reach an audience that might not normally choose to listen to instrumental music. I also wanted to create songs that arent based solely around technique as with many instrumental records." UNDER THE RADAR got its first national review in the January 2001 issue of 20th Century Guitar Magazine. Songs from the album were also chosen to appear in a nationally released Sierra Club video entitled WILDLAND, as well as several clips on ESPN, Fox Sports, and the E! Entertainment Channel.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&n bsp&nbsp Trexel produced his third instrumental album in 2004, entitled DEEP IN THE MIX. While at WORKPLAY, Trexel has worked with national acts including Train, Three Days Grace, Blue Merle, Vanessa Carlton, Better Than Ezra, Cowboy Mouth, and Glen Phillips. He has also recorded audio for the live DVDs from Monte Montgomery, Jeff Cook, Paul Thorn, and David Ryan Harris.
