Da is not simply an aspiring Hip-Hop artist, Rapper, or MC; rather he Is A Lyrical Artist, fused with poetry, knowledge, learning, teaching, understanding, and thought. His mind is one without boundries, content vast and unpredictable. Da is driven by his passion for music. As an artist his skills have been displayed along side his regime THE FOUNDATION, Tone Shock, J-Nice, and Big Lex Worthy. His new elevation of sound has been developed through endless hours in The Booth with the coldest beat maker smashing the industry HUMBLE. Da has performed throughout the eastern half of the states as well as throughout Eastern/Central Europe, and Egypt. He is currently living in South Korea through the means of teaching English (at an elementary school). While residing in South Korea Da is working hard on composing lyrics and tracks for highly anticipated upcoming albums to be released stateside in the U.S.A. During his time he will be participating in various performances along side many of South Korea's top performers as well as various artists from around the globe. His upbringing and world travels have created a life, which in turn has developed a true talent. Recent life changes, downfalls, adversities, and developments in his career and life have reshaped this artists approach to music. With the recent death of his grandfather Arnold T. Carlson or Papa as he referred to him as Da has become more driven then ever. This along with the relative absence of his son Dasan (being that time is limited due to travels) is sure to evoke some serious self expression from this inspirational artist. His motto once spoken by his deceased cousin and now quoted amongst artists, industry cats, and fans alike; THE TIME IS NOW!!!
