Farewell Down has been a band for over three years and has played all over california and places including Arizona,Nabraska,Texas, and Florida. The bands ultimate goal is to have a impact on the people they play for. Throughout the years of playing music at various venues they have realized there is nothing worth living for outside of Jesus Christ, and that is why they play music. Their name comes from Luke 9:61 where Jesus encourages a man to cast down those things he feels he has to say farewell to and "follow Him". Farewell Down released a self-titled album in April of 2006 and is scheduled to release another album early 2007. "Our desire is that people who listen to our music whether christian or non-christian, religious or non-religious, young or old, would be encouraged by the notes and melodies of what we have to offer."
