KRS-1 and just talk to him about music, music theory and see if he likes where the industry is at now. Not only him but all old school artist that created this movement for us all. I bet they wouldn't have anything good to say about this "hip-pop" era.

I am influenced by very few mainstream artist. I dont really like that commercial garbage. Some are Tupac (of course), Kanye West, and Common. My crew really motivates me more with my music real artist the dudes in pH. Now those are real artist with real music. Check them out on Phunkthouse.com

Man right now I am really digging Ninja Warriors (that show is comedy). I like the funny home videos too some of the things that people do to themself.. Oh man.. One of my favorites has to be Rob & Big on MTV. I can never stop laughing when I watch that. Oh yeah and I can't forget about CSI Thanks to my chick....
I like reading influential books like Tupacs "A Rose that grew from Concrete", Think and Grow RIch by Napoleon Hill, The Dictionary, My School Text books (I know that sounds crazy but theres alot of stuff in there to benefit from). "The power of purpose" by Richard Leider... There are alot of books these are just the most recent ones.
Thats good question... I guess people that were influential to me that made me the way that I am today. Family beleive it our not had a huge impact on me. Some good some bad, even with the bad eventually you grow up to make the best of those situations. As with anything I guess you would say. Heros huh.. What really is a Hero? My Grandfather is a Hero in many ways. He taught me many things like respect, discipline, and how to be a man. My Grandmother also, she is a very strong women she has seen and been through alot of things. Her strength and positive outlook on everything os very inspiring to me. My Mom also has seen her fair share of things in her life. The road may have been rocky at one point but with time you can overcome any obstacle or speed bump. She is an amazing women as well. All in all I have a great family, great friends, a wonderful Wifey, and a little soldier lol. I couldn't ask for anything more in my life. I am happy where I am and it can only get better.. watch out
