My name is RV or you can call me Coach, my team calls me Coach. I guess they call me that cause in a way I run the team... lol I started Phunkt House about Eight Years ago Just as a place for talented artist to come to get there stuff recorded and create demos over the years it blew up into a Independent Label. Now after all of our success I (as in Phunkt House) We plan on putting AZ on the map. Dont get me wrong theres alot of talent out here is AZ but no one really does real "Hip Hop". They think just because they rhyme they do Hip Hop.... ummmm no, they are actually just rappers or as Jerome one said they live in "Hip Pop". These people talk about what everyone else wants to hear. They dont talk about there real life. Thats what bugs me about hip hop... Real hip hop wasnt about shoes on the caddy, your rolex, or all your chicks you got. It was about the struggle and doing what you needed to get to get out of that hole you were stuck in. I know I have seen my fair share of hard times in life just like all of you reading this. I just hope that one line from one song can help one of you. The same way that it helped me to write any of those tracks. All I can be in "Real", it is what it is
People out here are always talking about what "WE" need to do to blow up ...Theres alot of "Lip Service" WHAT YOU GOT TO DO IS BE REAL. Thats all..... and its easy to do, so quit fronting and be yourself, if your music is booty and your "REAL" People are gonna feel you cause they will see that you have a heart. If you front like you are doing big things (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE).. Just quit with the act. We know that you are softer then a roll of two ply and just as ____________ (fill in with own word). So I know most of you already know of us, Me, My crew, whoever it may be if you dont, you will and trust me "We wont let you down".
We make this music for you so that you can know what real music is. Next time you see a fake Emcee remember what we said and how we put it down. We do this for you and we wont let you down, thats a promise that we will always keep. Sure we have been offered contracts to sign to labels. We tore them up becuase then we would lose us. Creativity, someone else owning our heart/talent...Come on what do we look like. All you fake emcees thanks, you motivate me to want to make it, you can hate on us. Then run home and try to steal our sound for your next show...(lol, I was there). Theres only one Phunkt House, theres only one RV". We are bringing back what the games been missing.... REAL HIP HOP. We even got beats for artist that need them, just hit us up.
