Aloha! My name is Rasha Spindel-Chapman. I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and I have since lived in Portland, and L.A. I go home to Hawai'i every few months, but my heart is always there. (Yes, Blonde Hawaiians really do exist). I am a Plus-Size Model, and I am very proud to say that, because I believe people are beautiful no matter what size they are. I have been modeling for the past 4 years. I have big dreams, and many of them have already come true. I married the man of my dreams in my hometown of Honolulu in January of 2006. Edwin is my best friend. He even agreed to star with me on NBC's "The Biggest Loser - Special Edition - Engaged Couples", "The Today Show", "The Tyra Banks Show", "AM Northwest", "NBC KGW News Channel 8", among other television shows ...even though he has never had a desire to be in front of the camera. I lost 70 pounds on the show, and Edwin lost 63, bringing our grand total to 133 pounds lost in 5 months!!! 70,000 people tried out for “The Biggest Loser: Special Edition”, and we were selected, so just remember that anything is possible! Although we may not have won the $50,000 wedding, we won a new, healthy lifestyle, and we had our own dream Hawaiian wedding which will never forget. "Inside Edition" even filmed it. Our wedding was everything we had ever hoped for. We love having so much support in my hometown in Honolulu, Hawai'i. I have a beautiful family (it's just me & my gorgeous sister, Yvette), and I love my sister, and my Mom so much, it hurts not to be near them (Mom is in L.A., Yvette is in San Francisco, Dad & Lynn are in Honolulu), so I end up traveling a lot to be near them, which I love. I have quite a few amazing friends (including my favorite cousin, Mone't) spread out over the nation. I am one of the most amazingly Blessed people I know. I have been raised to be grateful for all I have, and to love life! Although I am based in Portland (for now), I frequently travel to L.A., San Francisco, New York, Seattle, and Honolulu to model (and see family & friends). I truly love modeling, singing, acting, and just being creative. I have always wanted to be in the entertainment industry mainly because I hope I can inspire others to live life to the fullest, love with all their hearts, and to never judge anyone based on color, religion, sexual orientation, or even based on their weight. - and, yes, for those of you who want to know, I have gained back a few pounds since "The Biggest Loser", because for me, it was never about being "skinny", it was about being healthy. I love representing the curvy women (and men) in the world. I want to make a difference in the world! That's me...Rasha
