Well...I've finally entered this amazing portal to the world that has single-handedly revolutionized the way we look at pictures of each other and send e-mails!But, for real. I'm hoping this will allow me to catch up with all my boys and girls. Maybe even spark a phone call or two.I'm doing well and have nothing to complain about. I've been gone from Detroit for a year as of last Halloween. That's a lot weirder to say than it is to hear. I've never been away from my social network and family for this long, and It's definitely been very different. I miss everyone terribly, but I think I'm making the best of the adventure. I've made a nice little life for myself out here and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience. I've got my own place, a good job with decent pay, a reliable automobile, and some good friends to hang with. So, basically, I'm doing better than 95% of the world. I'm very grateful.
For those who are wondering about L.A., all I can tell you in this little blurb is that it's more than I expected. It's overpopulated and it's definitely got its shitty parts, but it's also got some awesome spots and beautiful views. There is every representation of humankind among 12.9 million people within 4,850 sq. miles. So, in other words, there's always something to look at. I stay active. If I'm not working, playing basketball, sk8ing, hiking, playing, listening to, or attending music, completing physical challenges, traveling, eating unbelievable meals, sunbathing, or partying...Then I'm chillin’ or sleeping. And that's a sufficient synopsis of "the razzled one". At least for now.
