Dial 'M' for TIMMERS

Romeo and Juliet / are together in eternity / we could be like they are

About Me

I am a very private person. If you want to get to know me, you'll have to get to know me first. Other nonsensical half-truths and self allusions: I like to eat (food). I take my time picking vegetables. Eating sushi with chop-sticks. I enjoy museums and other artsy stuff. I can't pick a favorite color. Being dizzy leaving the movie theater is better than dizzy drunk, but I'm more likely to buy booze. I think rainy days were made for board games. Old video games aren't as good, but they are better. I believe we are little more than the sum of our experiences, opinions, and little coincidences. I try to live my life as if I were digging at a thrift store. If you had my mind, you'd be more lost than you already are: but I'll still sure-as-shit give you a piece

My Interests

everything high-brow everything low-brow

I'd like to meet:

everyone important everyone insignificant

Movies:

I'm going to do this again, too. I have seen every film by FRANCOIS TRUFFAUT, except Such A Gorgeous Kid Like Me, which I am saving to ease the suffering of my deathbed, unless I don't die in a bed, then I guess I'll never see it. Two English Girls is my favorite film, I think. Kubrick taught me at a young age what English language film could be. Last Tango In Paris is perfect, but Bertolucci blows. Orson Welles is the voice of god/God. For brevity, just names: Polanski, Godard, Chabrol, Rohmer, Caro - Jeunet but not Jeunet, Jodorowski (thanks Trogpite), Romero in 70's, John Carpenter before 90's, Dario Argento, Fellini, Akira Kurosawa, Takashi Miike, Bunuel, Renoir, Wes Anderson's kitsch, P. T. Anderson, Aronofsky, anything Schwarzenneger or Kurt Russel, Lonewolf and Cub/Hanzo the Razor, Tarentino, really bad movies, blacksploitation, Pedro Almodovar, RAINER-WERNER FASSBINDER, S. Suzuki, Antonioni, Ernst Lubitsch, Fritz Lang,Volker Schlondorff, Werner Herzog, pieces of Scorsese, pieces of David Lynch, Woody Allen, some DeSica and Rossellini, Bertrand Tavernier, Maurice Piliat, Miyazaki should own Disney, Rene Clair, Jean Vigo, Rivette, Dziga Vertov,.... ok, I have to do this later, I am ridiculous!

Television:

Trailer Park Boys, original Twilight Zone, Curb Your Enthus., the good parts of Wonder Showzen, and any cartoon/kid show I watched as a child. This is more than enough television to rot any brain.

Books:

HONORE de BALZAC's Human Comedy, Raymond Chandler, Gustave Flaubert, Remembrance of Things Past, William Carlos Williams - especially Paterson, Philip Whalen, W.S. Burroughs, Gysin, Kenneth Patchen, Ted Berrigan, Richard Brautigan, great comics such as Crumb or S.
