About Me

I am a dancer, gitana, bailarina, performer, choreographer, creator, and dance teacher, based in Bharatha Natyam, inspired by many cultures and art forms. I aim to share the art of dance and yoga with love and positivity. I studied dance in the US and India, and give much love and respect to my gurus who inspired me. I have also studied African dance, capoeira, yoga, and kallaripyattu (marital arts from south india). My work includes collaborations with spoken word artists, hip-hop dancers, Persian drummers, Mexican rock bands and flamenco dancers. and I have performed and taught in NYC, LA, Boston, Spain, Mexico, and Canada . . . some of my selected performances include shows at CBGBs (NYC), Cathedral of St. John the Divine (NYC), The Public Theater (NYC), Brooklyn Children's Musuem and the Massachusetts State House. . . .
