A little about me....I am a huge dork. I say things that don't make sense to the common person. I love cheesey teen movies, pop music, Taco Bell, and Dr. Pepper. I am a half-ass activist and perfectionist, and have a passion for the arts. I don't know if I would say that I am an artist, but I draw occasionally and finish a painting about once a year. I would like to do it more, but I procrastinate and don't make the time. That is usually the case with most of the things I want to do. I love to travel. I have been all over the US and once out of the country to London for 3 weeks. My next big trip will have to be Greece or New Zealand. Chris and I went on a road trip to Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon & Helicopter ride, Sedona ruins, and Jerome Ghost Town. Check out Pedro on youtube. The whole trip was awesome!
I graduated from Moorpark Community College with an AA degree in 2006. It was considerably one the top 5 accomplishments of my life. I have 3 more classes to finish up there math is the bane of my life. After that I will start work on my BA degree at CLU, paid in full thanks to my awesome job. My dream job would have to be owning my own personal assistant company....one day.
I got the nickname 'Bones' in 2004 when I fell off a skateboard and tore every ligament in my right knee. The Doctor described it as an injury he usually sees an athlete with. The MRI read that not only did I tear my ACL and Meniscus but I bruised the bone as well....hense the name Bones was born. In case you were wondering the TV show Bones didn't air until September 2005.
I think it's time for generation X and Y to take back the Country! The only way to win is to get the whole team behind you. Let's spread the message that we need change in this Country and we are not going to get it by electing a 72 year old 'baby boomer' or two decades of Bush's and Clinton's. Unfortunately now that John Edwards has stepped aside from running for president the only logical choice for President is Barack Obama! Fresh blood and ideas needed in Washington.
I am facinated by Jackie Johnson, Weather person on KTLA Channel 9 in Los Angeles. I think she is super cute, has a chipper personality, gnarly fashion. I don't think I have ever seen her wear the same thing twice. I am fascinated by her and once you watch her Weather report you will be too....I would love to meet Jackie Johnson and shake her hand.
Do you remember Pup 'n' Taco? I can still smell those tacos with thin shredded cheese in their little orange wrappers. If you are from Simi you may remember the old Taco Bell building on Tapo Street was at one time a Pup 'n' Taco. According to Wiki "Ninety-nine stores were bought by Taco Bell in 1984, effectively ending the history of the chain. However, three operations in Albuquerque, New Mexico were not included in the deal and two still exist today as Pop 'N' Taco." I am heading to Albuquerque friends, shout out your orders.
I love all things vampire!
