A: It's a biographical movie about Darby Crash and The Germs. It starts with Darby creating the concept of The Germs in 1975 and ends with his death in 1980. Through this perspective, the movie will show the birth of punk rock in Hollywood and the rise of hardcore.Q: Who is playing Darby/Lorna/Pat/Don etc?
A: The cast includes Shane West (Darby), Bijou Phillips (Lorna), Rick Gonzales (Pat), and Noah Segan (Don).Q: What's up with the music in the movie?
A: There are nine Germs songs performed by the actors themselves who learned to play their instruments under the direction of Pat Smear (original Germs guitarist). There are also performances by actors playing The Screamers and Black Flag. Don and Lorna were also in the practice room and on set with the actors to help insure authenticity.Q: Is this movie gonna suck ass?

A: This is writer/director Rodger Grossman's first film. He's worked on this project for over ten years, interviewed and worked with as many of the important figures in the scene as possible, and is committed to telling the real story. Rhino Films is producing with Coalition Film. One of the producers/writers was Darby's best friend Michelle Baer Ghaffari (check her out in the Decline of Western Civilization with Darby in the kitchen). Everybody making this movie is deeply committed to doing this subject matter justice.
