About Me

My name is Autumn Bates, I am Janets stepdaughter, but like all her kids, she really is my mother. This blog is so you can keep track of her condition. Janet was born November 13, 1953. She is 51 years old and is a Scorpio. Her favorite jewelry is ruby jewelry. Janet has been married to Russell Bates for 16 years as of July 15, 2005. She has five children: Adam(28), Autumn(26), Noah(23), and Megan(21) (all Russell's Children) and Vega(19) (an adopted son). She has two grandchildren, Winter, age 2 (from Noah and Bunny), and Lucas, age 1.5 (from Adam and Rebekah.) In August of 2005 Janet was diagnosed with Uterine cancer. She had a radical hyseroctemy and went home. By September of 2005 she was diagnosed with Mixed Mullerian Cancer, a very agressive and fast growing type of cancer. This cancer is extremely rare and less than 100 people currently have it. Her odds were very bad, but through her Father John and Stepmother, Frances, she found a specialist and want there for 1 week of chemo and two weeks of rest until November of 2005. In November she was doing really well. Most of the tumors had shrunk and she was allowed to go an a two week cruise with her sisters to Germany and the surrounding areas. She had a blast. Janet returned home at the beginning of December, 2005 and was doing great. About December 12 she started having terrible headaches and was put into the hospital December 15th. She has brain tumors on the back right side of her brain, which is limiting the mobility of her left side. She is currently terminal and has been given 2 days to 2 weeks to get things in order and prepare for the inevitable.
