Anyone who is down for a day on a lake or at the river. Highland dancers. People that are interested in Scottish history. Historical re-enactors. People that can engage in intelligent conversation. I have a good group of friends but I'm always up for more. Age doesn't matter to me so much as attitude does!
Just about everything. I used to play in a metal band in the 80's and I pretty much lean towards rock/metal. Randy Rhoads was my idol back when I played guitar. Of course any music with a Gaelic/Celtic flavor.
Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, Rob Roy, Boondock Saints, Michael Collins, Brotherhood of the Wolf, The 13th Warrior, Pitch Black, Passion of the Christ, 300, Hero, Iron Giant(silly cartoon made me cry!), Pirates of the Caribbean series, Just about anything with Samuel Jackson, Wakeboarding videos of course...
57" Widescreen with Digital Surround...I only watch it if I'm walking through the room and something catches my eye or it is something I have bought, rented, or borrowed.
I've read just about everything by Tolkien. I'm a total Ring geek, I've read a variety of Tolkiens books dealing with the rings of power.Technical and educational reading that will impart useful knowledge.I thoroughly enjoy studying Judeo/Christian theology. It's something I started doing when I was 14-15 years old and research sources were limited. I am doing studies of different doctrines/denominations that are, or claim to be, within Christianity with a primary focus on Catholicism, Mormonism ( Latter Day Saints and its various branches), and Jehovahs Witness. I am looking at the Latter Day Saints Canon (The Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Book of Abraham), the Journal of Discourses, and Church History. The Jehovahs Witness version of the Bible and church history. And last, but not least, Catholic doctrine and history.I am intrigued by each of their claims that they are "The True Church" and the basis for which that claim is made.I am looking into the Gnostic gospels (Books left out of the standard canonized/Christian bible, (The Book of Thomas, Book of Mary, Book of Enoch...etc...).I am looking into the Aramaic language to better understand the, idioms, colloquialisms ,and expressions of the language to clarify the meaning and intent of the original Eastern writings.
