I'm a voyeur with a camera...A.K.A. Photographer

About Me

I find myself here because I am a photographer specializing in black and white artistic erotica...I was invited by one of my models. As can be seen by the photos in my profile, I like to play dress up even though I'm straight. I'm married to Barbara, my wife of over thirty years. I like to read, everything from Dickens to Fantasy and Science Fiction. I collect illustration art, erotica and pinup art, cartoon art, politcal cartoons and animation art. I like classical music, jazz and big band swing.

My Interests

In addition to my art collection I collect many things. I've often been told that I should charge admission to my house which contains, among other things, over three dozen different chess sets -- and I don't play chess, is that wierd? Many of my collections serve as props for my photography. For example, I have a collection of helmets, armor and weapons some of which were actual film used props from shows such as Xena Warrior Princess. I keep accumulating stuff at an alarming rate because I'm an eBay junkie.

I'd like to meet:

Unusual and Beautiful People to Photograph

Music:

I'm fond of classical music by the likes of Mozart, big band swing by Benny Goodman, and Rock and Roll by the Beatles. I've never managed to acquire a taste for Country music or Rap...what can I say?

Movies:

I love a good movie both in an actual movie theater and at home on the small screen. I like comedy, adventure, fantasy and romance...I probably shouldn't admit it, but I actually like Chick Flicks...I even prefer them to movies containing car chases and explosions...I loved Chicago...does that mean I have latent homosexual tendancies? I don't think so...

Television:

Theater is life, film is art and Television is furniture, right? I do watch a bit of television. Some of my favorites currently on the boob tube include Grey's Anatomy, How I met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, House, Boston Legal, and CSI. Reality shows do nothing for me, there's plenty of reality in my own life already. I watch television to escape reality...

Books:

I'm an avid reader who is as likely to read Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens as the latest Harry Potter confection. I like historical novels, fantasy, science fiction, romantic comedy and the occasional who done it...

Heroes:

My new book featuring 30 different models posed in various states of undress as Warrior Princesses, Slave Girls, Concubines, Dancing Girls, Vampires, Comic Book Heroines, A Sorceress, Succubae and even a Faerie, is now available through the publisher at: http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail.aspx?bookid= 38909And, here's what Lady Abigail said about the book in issue #32 of JADE magazine: "'Warrior Princess' features the erotic fantasy images from Michael's infallible lens. The book is large format, with a soft cover and has a lovely retro feel to it with the rough style of paper used to display the myriad of full page black and white images. The models Michael uses are extremely gorgeous and fulfil every male's idea of the fantasy woman. Although there are many 'warrior' women here, my personal favorites were the female vampires, I felt my juices running hot and sweet at the mere sight of them. If female vampires are really this beautiful why does that damned teenage dolly bird Buffy keep turning them all to dust! With careful choice of model, make-up, wardrobe and backdrop, Michael successfully creates sensual erotic images which are a delight to view."

Some models know me only too well.  Sarah contacted me to let me know that she'd just moved into a new apartment.  Well, it was "new" to her, but over a hundred years old.  It was an ol...

May All Your Dreams Come True?

May all your dreams come true!  Doesn't that sound like a lovely sentiment?  I've often thought so, until I pondered it a bit.  Not all of my dreams are pleasant.  Some of my dream...

Ordinarily, when I'm shooting for my own amusement, I'll take two or three shots of the same subject at slightly different settings, or focal length, or what have you. When I get the proofs from my la...
