About Me

I am the notorious Charlie Voodoo of the Cheesecake Burlesque Revue based in Victoria, BC. If you'd like to know more about me and my troupe, please visit our website:If you'd like to see more of what we've done in past shows, scroll to the bottom of this section for some cool slideshows put together by Miss Ricky Hard of the Cheesecakes! **********************************************************A little information about me...I got into burlesque because of my love of fashion and glamour, my appreciation for things fetish and vintage, my love of performance and my exhibitionist nature. I have performed in bands, choirs, plays and musicals ever since I was young and I just don't feel right if I'm out of the limelight for too long!I love to dance - I have experience in highland, jazz, hip hop and bellydance. Whenever I need to clean my house, I put on my favourite tunes LOUD and dance to the beat as I work! It feels so good to move my body and it always cheers me up no matter how gloomy I'm feeling. I also love to sing, and I have nearly twenty years of training and experience in pop, classical and jazz. I'm hoping to show off some of my vocal talents in upcoming shows. For me, burlesque and pin-up modelling are an extension of my childhood love of playing dress-up. I get to don wild costumes - from pvc corsets and high boots to frilly lingerie, fringe and feathers - and express the many sides of my personality on stage and in front of the camera, all while making a bit of cash. For me, dancing with the Cheesecakes (and pursuing my modelling career) feels like a lifelong dream come true!I enjoy arts and crafts and this has come in handy for making things like flowery pasties and other fun burlesque and pin-up props. So far I've been working mostly with a glue gun, but I've just borrowed my mom's sewing machine and I'm teaching myself to sew my own costumes. In fact, I just made a tutu! I'm so proud.I really appreciate the support of all my fans - without you, there would be no Cheesecakes! I'm looking forward to seeing you all at our upcoming shows!****************************************************** ****If you like the latest pics to appear in my profile, and want a photographer who is guaranteed to make you look fabulous, check out Sarah Kramer Photography!************************************************ ********** Create or get your
