Texas has been home to a variety of the world's most successful artists, ZZ Top, Pantera, Kings X, the Toadies, Drowning Pool and now Prognosis.
The band is a mainstay in the Texas rock scene drawing a substantially larger crowd than practically any other local band in
the Houston area. The Houston Press, 94.5 the Buzz and Live Nation
have all taken interest in spinning, booking and supporting the band.
Prognosis' anticipated debut album, Unspoken was recorded at the historic SugarHill Recording Studios (The Rolling Stones, Smashmouth, Janis Joplin, Big Bopper, Freddy Fender and Destinys Child) in Houston, Texas. The album was engineered by Tim Wehrle and mixed by Grammy nominated Steve Christensen (Destinys Child, Clay Walker, Sony).
The band known for it's abrasive yet melodic guitars, pounding drums, clean yet punchy bass lines and emotionally concentrated vocals and lyrics has had the fortune of sharing the stage with numerous national acts most notably: Drowning Pool, Fair to Midland and Shinedown. The band is best experienced through the energy of its live show, and is currently in the studio translating that energy into its second full length album, a highly anticipated follow up to its widely succesful debut album, "Unspoken". The "yet to be named" second album has a tentative release date of Summer 2008.
