Jordan: Reuniting with Team Learning TOMORROW!

A groan of tedium escapes me, startling the fearful. Is this a test? It has to be, otherwise I can't

About Me

My dad has this picture of me in an album at the dojo in Indiana (at least that is the last place I remember seeing it). The picture is from a promotion seminar and it is a front angle view of me doing shikko (knee walking). When I first saw the picture, I thought it was terrible. My hair is in my face, I look disheveled, and I certainly was not smiling. Some time after that, a good friend saw that picture and said to me, "This is a great picture of you!" I argued that it certainly was not and he said, "Look at the intent in your face. This is a great picture." I realize now while thinking back to that moment, that I would really like to have that picture. That picture portrays who I am. It is not the part that everyone sees, the caring, fun-loving, charismatic part (which is a huge part of who I am as well). It is the side of me that guides all of my actions... the root of who I am. That one random capture is a portrayal of me as I am in my training and in my life.
