there's too many to list...let's just categorize me as a voracious reader; everything from biographies to trash fiction to satire to science fiction to case studies to rhetoric to government to graphic novels to horror to philosophy to nonfiction to to social commentaries to media studies to new york times best sellers to feminism...pick any topic and i'm sure i'll have an opinion.
i am still totally reading 'guns...' but i needed an escapist, fiction break. i'm halfway through 'amber and blood' by margaret weis. it's the latest in the dragonlance series, covering the exploits of the gods and humans and, of course, kender. it's not her best work, but it's still a decent vacation.
'guns, germs and steel: fates of human societies' by jared diamond. it's a fascinating overview of human societies' beginnings and ending that makes you take a long hard look at the heroes of our time and how this world has come to pass. it's phenomenal.
'intercourse: stories' by robert olen butler. short inner monologues of famous couples during acts of passion. my personal favorites: richard nixon and his wife; adam and eve.
they're all dust, anyhow.
