About Me

Who am I? I guess this is the place where you are supposed to write real obscure stuff, so that people think you are deep, edgy, and maybe a little weird. Maybe I am those, and maybe I'm not...I'm not real sure. Here's what I do know...
I do my best to place my relationship with Christ at the front of my life. Sometimes I succeed at that, and sometimes I fail. I love my family. I actually enjoy hanging out with each member of my family...and have different reasons why I like to spend time with each of them. My friends are great. Because I am involved with so many different things, I have friends that range from sports nut to hippie (literally). I like it that way. I enjoy surrounding myself with people who can add to my life. I enjoy a good football game. It doesn't really matter who is playing. I pretty much enjoy sports in general. From November through the first of April, I bleed Duke blue! I hate UNC. If I have a vice in this world, it is ice cream. I absolutely love it. My all time favorite is neapolitan, but I don't recall a time in my life that I have turned down a good bowl of ice cream, no matter what flavor it is. I am passionate about music. More than most anything else in the world, I love live music. Whether it be at a 30,000 person concert, or some random guy playing at some hole-in-the-wall bar, music is part of what shapes my life. I play guitar. I'm ok at it. I want to be better. I sing. Sometimes I do both at the same time. I love to ski. I own tons of books, and I don't know if I have read all of any of them. My friends and I love to cook out in the spring and fall...you name some kind of food, and we have probably tried to grill it. Speaking of food, I am all about a good ol' PB&J. Whole wheat bread, creamy peanut butter (choosy moms choose Jif), and strawberry preserves (Smucker's)...mmm. I float the Guadalupe River a minimum of once every year. It is required. I have been to Gruene Hall. I love to drive. That's all for now.
Below is Bridgeport Camp & Conference Center... My life is completely transformed every time I go there. Whether it be for a week, or just an hour or two to visit, God speaks to me, takes me to new places, and calls me to new missions every time I am there. In my mind, there is no better place on earth.

"Don’t give up, don’t ever give up."
