Pop Rock Truth
Well the truth is in the music, and the music is in 28 year old energetic singer/songwriter Brian Jones. Adopting the catch phrase pop rock truth, Brian has set his sights on creating music that is both memorable and full of raw honest emotion. "Music has been quite a spiritual and exciting journey for me", says Brian. "Ever since picking up my first Nirvana record as a kid, and later on discovering The Beatles, I realized my passion for writing great songs".
Since beginning his musical journey in the mid nineties, Brian has written and recorded seven albums worth of original music, and also dozens of other songs and demos that have yet to see the light of day. Brian's style can be compared to artists such as Elvis Costello, Relient K, Weezer, and Billy Joel.
The content of Brian's songs revolve around his life experiences. Being married, working dead-end jobs, having a family, and being a Christian, provide inspiration and lyric to the natural pattern of melodies that seem to flow constantly. "I take what God's done in my life, package it in a nice verse-chorus-verse format, and use it to bring hope to a sometimes hopeless world".
