My Interests

Acting, Comedy, Photography, Technology, Sports, Poker (gambling in general), Fitness, Making TV, Watching TV, Films, Farting, Travel, All sorts of reading material: biographies, history, fiction, periodicals, playboy; wine and cheeses, construction/home repair, some fashion, (but I usually let my wife dress me)....

I'd like to meet:

John Lennon, Kurt Cobain, Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Hunter Thompson, Ted Williams, Tom Brady, Howard Stern, Bill Clinton, George Steinbrenner (in a dark alley with no witnesses), Tupac (in a bright alley with lots of witnesses), Jim Morrison, Dalai Lama, Jim Brown (the crazy former running back)....

Music:

What's not to like? okay, disco. But my tastes pretty much cover all the genres. Rock, classic rock, Jazz, Classical, Hip-Hop, Alternatives, New Wave, Three Chord to Symphony, some hair metal, blues, mellow 70's Gold. Not a huge country or techno/house fan but there are some things in there that I can appreciate. "Devil Went Down to Georgia" for example. Here are some of my favorite musicians in no particular order.... U2, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Beck, Jeff Buckley, Steeley Dan, Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, AC/DC, Queen, Elton John, Chemical Brothers, Oasis, Black Crowes, Rolling Stones, Beastie Boys, Kanye West, Eminem, Depeche Mode, Def Leppard, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, The Doors, The Eagles, Death Cab for Cutie, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Janes Addiction, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, the Cure, Mozart, and a little known band, THE BEATLES....

Movies:

Here's some on my DVD shelf or my Netflix lists: Fight Club, Goodfellas, Memento, Reservoir Dogs, Caddyshack, Stripes, Bourne Identity, The Muppet Movie, Almost Famous, Seven, Gladiator, Bull Durham, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Terminator 2, Death Wish, 48 hours, Raiders of the Lost Arc, Anchorman, Toy Story, The Incredibles, The Godfather, Apocolypse Now....

Television:

I'm a TV junkie, (thank you very much TIVO), so here goes. The Office is the funniest comedy in the past decade or more. (the British one, though the American version is pretty damn good too). All Hail Ricky Gervais. Half Hour News Hour. (shameless self promotion) Can't get enough of Lost and 24. The Law and Order series' (SVU, Criminal Intent and the original). Conan O'brien, Pardon the Interruption, The Daily Show, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, CSI (Las Vegas and Miami only), Six Feet Under, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm (except the last season, yech), The Sopranos (is that still on?), The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Sportscenter, and I'll watch pretty much any NFL game, NBA games (only in the final quarter if its close), really good college game match-ups, All Red Sox games, otherwise only playoff baseball is worth sitting through on TV. Saturday Night Live is on my Tivo list, but these days, I rarely get through the whole show. Games Across America was a great show and will be sadly missed....
