Let's see...i'm a big music and movie lover. I enjoy talking with my friends, reading true stories, going out to eat, watching t.v. (dramas, comedies, documentries), going to concerts, hanging out, creative writing, comedy clubs, going out for a drink every now and then, going to the theater, karaoke...I recently saw Avenue Q and enjoyed that immensly.
I'd like to meet real people who are interested in getting to know each other...any fellow music lovers of course. As far as the fellas go, forming a friendship is the first step. I tend to take things at a slower pace. I appreciate the little things. So if you take the time to read my profile and something strikes you, please feel free to drop me a line. I'd also love to someday meet Olivia Newton-John. Going to see ONJ in concert in Miami later this this year and I can't wait! :-)
This could take a while, but I'll try to control myself. Anyone who knows me knows just how much I adore Olivia Newton-John! I'm also a huge Karen Carpenter fan. While I gravitate towards mostly adult contemp and country music, I really enjoy many different kinds. A few of my fav singers are Sherrie Austin, Faith Hill, Natalie Cole, Gary Allan, Vanessa Williams, Daniel Beddingfield, Dusty Springfield, Al Green, Martina McBride, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Carrie Underwood, Jimmy Wayne, Amy Grant...I just saw Natalie Cole live in concert for the very first time a few weeks back. She was amazing! Her voice is even more lovely when you get to hear her perform live!.. Movie Clips | San Diego Lofts | Music Forum /div
Well I go to the movies pretty much every week. I mostly enjoy romantic comedies, dramas, independent films.
You Belong in 1974
If you scored...
1950 - 1959: You're fun loving, romantic, and more than a little innocent. See you at the drive in!
1960 - 1969: You are a free spirit with a huge heart. Love, peace, and happiness rule - oh, and drugs too.
1970 - 1979: Bold and brash, you take life by the horns. Whether you're partying or protesting, you give it your all!
1980 - 1989: Wild, over the top, and just a little bit cheesy. You're colorful at night - and successful during the day.
1990 - 1999: With you anything goes! You're grunge one day, ghetto fabulous the next. It's all good!
What Year Do You Belong In?
Medium, What Not To Wear, PBS, Family Guy, Providence, Judging Amy, Golden Girls, Cold Case, Drawn Together, American Idol, Touched By An Angel, The Closer,Project Runway...
Non fiction memoirs are my favorite. I find people who are able to go through trying times and still find a way to overcome them and inspire others in the process to be so uplifting. Currently, I'm reading Adrienne Barbeau's autobiography, "There Are Worse Things I Could Do."
Well on top of my list would have to be my grandpa..I miss you Normie! Teachers (like my first grade one, Mrs. Rogers, and my big sister Jen). My close friends are heros to me. Olivia is a musical hero to me because of how her music/songs have impacted my life from a very early age. Also she is involved in important causes..the environment, the fight against breast cancer to name a couple. We have everyday heros around us all the time, we just don't always realize it.
