Changing all that shit that was in here before. Just recently saw Tristan and Isolde. Was a great movie based on a great legend. Avalon still remains a top favorite. Lord of War was very good as was Brothers Grimm. The Mariachi series by Rodriguez, El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico, were very good. A Clockwork Orange still remains one of my all time favorites. The Brotherhood of the Wolf is still a personal favorite as well. The Last of the Mohicans of course. The Godfather trilogy is a personal favorite. Dead Birds stands as one of my favorite horror films. Rejuvenated the genre.
I have to update this section, due to the fact Killer Instinct was cancelled. I also watched E-Ring, but that got the boot too. Dexter on Showtime is an absolute favorite. Aside from the CSI shows, Criminal Minds, Law and Order shows, Stargate Atlantis, there's Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Robot Chicken, Numbers, and a few others. I'm also now hooked on Eureka on the SciFi channel. Good stuff.
Guess that means favorite books. Well, Brian Lumley's Necroscope series is by far my favorite along with his short stories and The House of Doors and I'm currently reading Maze of Worlds, the sequel to House of Doors, H. P. Lovecraft is right behind Lumley if not hot on his heels, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit right behind it, followed by the Earthsea books. Hmm. Oh yes, and the White Wolf Clan Novels. Very good stuff. Of course George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four is on the list. And Tom Clancy's Politika and James Clavell's Shogun. Good stuff good stuff. Also Onegin was a very good book as well. Another personal favorite is Frank Herbert's Dune series.
Question is, what is a hero nowadays? I guess I'd have to say my grandfather was always my hero. But my idol, my idol has always been, and always will be Adrian Erlandsson. Formerly of At the Gates, then The Haunted, he's now with Cradle of Filth. Which in my opinion, is a waste of his damn talent.
