At just 20 years of age, Kayla is certainly a young lady who is ahead of her time. The singer songwriter is not only an outstanding talent but also an incredible live performer.London born Kayla homed her musical skills at the now infamous BRIT School, and wasted no time in pursuing her desire to succeed in the music industry. In 2000 Kayla joined UK garage collective C4 Family and it was here Kaylas incredible vocal talents were recognised. Kayla put her silky smooth vocals on the track Street Dreams which managed to fend off 2000 odd competitors and C4 Family reached the final of the Pepsi Urban Sounds contest. For Kayla, the experience with C4 led to the UK wide recognition of her amazing potential and talent. Kayla has performed live at the Jazz Café where she received an incredibly welcoming reception from the audience and, as a result, she was invited back for a second performance. She has also performed at many other venues all over London and in the Counties.Before long, Kayla had various offers to further advance her career. Kayla is now working on her first solo album.
