Right now I like to drive around and scream along to "Bat Out of Hell" full blast. I like to eat cheese toast. I like to play guitar. I like to sit around the lake and talk. I have wonderful friends, but they're spread out all over the country. I've changed cities seven times in the last six years. I need to stick for a while. I have my vices, but I keep them in check. Ummm... I've had a lot of jobs... most notable of which... college professor... after school art and theatre instructor... carpenter... lead singer of a country show... electrician... art store guy... technical director... production manager... blah blah blah.

The television is a little more than a strobe light. But I do watch Weeds and Dexter. I watch DVDs of Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Fraggle Rock. I also like watching rodeos and... I admit it... Iron Chef... and (gulp) Project Runway. Sometimes I'll watch a football game, but most of the time I feel like if I watch it, I'll somehow jinx the game. Maybe I don't hate the television as much as I wish I did.

Books:

Anything by George Orwell, Samuel Beckett, J.D. Salinger, Charles Bukowski, Kafka... Other than that... From Dawn to Decadence... The Mole People... Ishmael... Oryx and Crake... Peter Pan... The Griffin and Sabine series. I tend to like books that point to the end of western civilization. Oh... If you know me, and I'm moody, remind me to get a new book.

Heroes:

Hero status has always puzzled me... I admire anybody who's figured out what they want to do with their life and has found a way to make a living doing it- outside of the already establshed system.
