Life is Short, Drink Milk!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm... This is a tough question, because if I put people like Madonna or Britney Spears, I come across as being not so bright but if I put people like Eliot, Poe, Austen or Cummings - I come across as being arrogant. So - Here are just a few my favorite people (alive) that it would be great to meet some day. Television - Anyone from Desperate Housewives or Lost. Movies - Uma Thurman (She is just absolutely beautiful), Hugh Jackman (he is just absolutely beautiful), Janeane Garofalo(She is smart, funny, socially and politically responsible, outspoken and original). Authors - Augusten Burroughs (Really enjoyed his books), James Frey (Just to find out what he was thinking when he wrote his book), Herman Hesse (I know he has passed away but I just love reading his short stories and poems), Anne Rice (I like her gothic stories, very visually appealing) & John Grogan (Marley & Me - It's just a sweet story about his dog) Music - Well, I already mentioned Madonna, she is an icon. Britney Spears - just to find out why she has made so many bad decisions and Sarah Mclachlan - just because she has been one of my favorite artists for years and years.

Music:

I have a very diverse range of music likes - Sarah Mclachlan, Garbage, Tori Amos, Madonna, Britney Spears, Sigur Ros, Innocence Mission, Cocteau Twins, Olive, Liz Phair, Frou Frou, Book of Love, Alanis Morisette, Nelly Furtado, The Killers, Sophie B. Hawkins, Courtney Love... The List goes on and on...

Movies:

Okay - I am a huge movie freak. Some of my favorite movies of all time: The Color Purple (I can recite the movie word for word) Before Sunrise & Before Sunset (Sweet Date Movies) Baghdad Cafe Room With A View Trick Beautiful Things Lord of The Rings trilogy Terms of Endearment The Family Stone I love movies and I have a huge movie library, some good, some bad and some terrible - but variety is the spice of life (I sound like a dork, I know) and of course "The Sweetest Thing" - That's for you Matt ..

Television:

I enjoy some Reality TV programs. Favorite Show - Real World & Road Rules - The Gauntlet....it's just bad to watch but it makes me feel like a better person. Lost Desperate Housewives Project Runway Will & Grace I liked Friends while it was on King of Queens

Books:

Herman Hesse - Pictor's Metamorpheses (it's such a wonderful story/poem), Marley & Me - John Grogan, (a very sweet story, I have dogs so it was very touching and a little sentimental), Anne Rice (I like reading her stories - just for fun).

Heroes:

My Mom.
