horror movies, drinking, going to shows
at local bars, art stuff, and music
I love art and I love photography.
I love black and white photography,
and am a big fan of artists such as
Larry Clark and Gavin Watson.
I also love doing bloody gross makeup
for my photogaphy and want to eventually make this a career,
only in the film industry.
I also love painting,
lots of punk rock stuff, and some abstract as well
Anyone, i'm not picky!
rockabilly, ska, punk, love the epoxies,
and local hometown bands from missoula.
The best shows I have ever seen were at the legendary Jay's Upstairs!
some bands that I grew to love at Jay's Upstairs are:
The dissapointments, the Volumen, The International Playboys, Reptile Dysfunction,
The Expendables, The Hollowpoints, Fireballs of Freedom, Manplanet,
Oblio Joes, Captured! by Robots, The Epoxies, the list goes on!
Other bands I love:
Distillers, Social D., Sleater-kinney,
Groovie Ghoulies, anti-flag, t.s.o.l.
also folk music like
J. Cash, creedance, patsy cline
(i love her!)
I could go on and on...
Edukators is a great flick!
anything with lots of blood and guts,
Donnie Darko kicks some fucking ass!
gotta love the classics
from Romero, dawn, night, day, actually,
all the dead movies.
Lost boys is a definate favorite.
delicatessan, city of lost children,
and the devil's backbone are all
great foreign flicks.
Suspria is a great artsy horror flick! Plus the
goblins did an awesome job on the
soundtrack. one that still gives
me chills is Poltergist-that fucking scene
with the clown under the bed,
that's just not fucking right!
Also have to mention the evil deads and
army of darkness.
Sam Raimi is great. Tom Sullivan is such a
great effects guy! oh and of coarse,
Dead Alive, with the 10 minute
lawn mower scene! classic!
One of my new favorites is Shaun of the Dead, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are so hillarious!
favorite scene from shaun of the dead
This is the best music video ever, i think it gets bits of every one of my favorite horror movies, it's called dawn of the dead by schoolyard heroes
I am absolutely obsessed with SPACED! it kicks ass! Although it's not on tv anymore, that's ok,
also Young Ones was great tv as well!
here's a good clip from spaced
ZOMBIES!
glue, trainspotting,
and porno are all great.
Also clockwork orange.
Geek love was fabulous!
i'm in the middle of the
world according to garp
right now. good stuff,
so much better than the movie,
but that's how it always goes
The feeling of what happens by antonio damasio is great!
it's all about consciousness and emotions,
left brain/ right brain stuff.
tom savini is a major hero.
tom sullivan as well, he has a great story
about how he knew
he wanted to do special effects
ever since he was 4 and saw king kong.
it's on his web site, i have a similar story,
he gives me hope that i'll be
able to accomplish my dreams.
other heroes- my grandma.
i want to be her so bad when i'm that age.
she's had so many surgeries,
gall bladder removed, 2 different cancers,
all sorts of shit,
and she's still just as fisty as ever.
she's not afraid to stand up for her self,
and the people she loves,
but she's still able to keep an open mind
about many of the things in this world.
She's crazy and strong and
i love her with all my heart!
