About Me

Hey ya'll my name is Joey for those of you who dont know me. I play in the Grey Ghost Band, and I am the lead guitarist. I have 2 kids named Bryan and Christina, and a wonderful girlfriend named Celia. I went to West High School. I really love traveling to different places and meeting new people and trying different foods. I am 43 years old sad to say but I'm still young at heart. I've been playing the guitar since the age of 11. I love to write music and excercise my mind lyrically. Some say that writing songs is one of the most personal things a person can do because you expose your thoughts when you play and sing it before people. I don't know, being up on stage is like therapy for me. It's like a large playground. When I'm up there all my troubles seem so far away. I love being on the lake in the summer and riding my motorcycle. I love the freedom it seems to bring being on the open road. I enjoy just hangin out with my friends and having a good time. I don't get to see my kid's as much as I would like but they're getting older now and seem to have a life of there own, "not much time for Dad". I cherrish what time I do get to spend with them. The guy's in the band Mickey, Mike , Ed and Shawn are like brothers to me. I never had any brothers so I guess they are about as close as you can come. I have a very good relationship with my girlfriend and am only on this My Space thing to meet and talk to new friends and some old ones as well. My Interests

Playing the guitar with my band The Grey Ghost Band, singing, traveling and spending time with my family and friends, quite nights at home on the couch or in the bed with my girlfriend watching a movie.

I've already met alot of celeberties in my lifetime, people like Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Rascall Flatts, Garth Brooks, Dean Carter, Jerry Lee Lewis, Vern Gosdin, Payton Manning, Fuel, Breaking Benjamin, 38 Special, Greenday, Popa Roach, Heart, "Wild" Mick Brown drummer for Dokken and now for Ted Nugent The Bellemy Brothers, Steve Warner, Gary Morris, John Anderson, The Kendels, Lorri Ann Crook and Charlie Chase, Ralph Emory, Roy Clark, Jimmy Dean and I can't forget the night I got to paty with Van Halen on the Fair Warning tour in Knoxville. I hung out with David Lee Roth and Eddie until about 5:30 in the morning. Man what a night. Dale Earnhardt, Terry Lebonte, Rusty Wallace, Bill Elliot, Kenny Bernstein,Ken Schrader.
