Mike Cip. The Man behind the Music.For the past decade Boston based music producer Cip has been carefully developing his craft. With several noted tracks on the streets (Produced Track 12 - Blood is Thicker Than Water" on Pitbulls new album "El Mariel" in stores now!!) and a solid Reggae Riddim (Attack Dem riddim) under his belt, Cip is known in the industry as one of New England most sought after producers. As part owner of Split2nd Entertainment, New England's most recognizable full-scale independent labels, his production and recording facility has welcomed the likes of D-Block, Pitbull, Beenie Man, T.O.K, Nina Sky, Mighty Mystic, Wispers, Bounty Killa, Grafh, Tanto Metro and Devonte, Vybz Cartel, T-Weaponz, and many others. With his skill and professionalism, Cip is rapidly gaining attention from both the music and film industry alike.Cips journey began at the rebellious age of fifteen. He credits his love of Hip Hop for saving him from the streets and changing the direction of his life.
