Feeding off the energy and ideas of numerous clubs throughout Boston and New York, he has applied these ideas to 235 Entertainment (www.235ent.com), a event planning company which he and Hector Garcia established in 2003. “Rizz†is the CEO, head promoter and marketing director for the company, and the brains behind all of the flyers, email blasts, and MySpace promotions. He spends countless hours on promoting upcoming events to friends, family and business acquaintances.
In 2005, 235 Entertainment really got noticed in the club scene when they started their first club night in Boston,†Sex-E Sundays," at the 360 Ultra Lounge. From there they have moved there promotions to the super chic and premier clubs doing Friday & Saturday nights @ Rumor Nightclub and Venu Nightclub. They have done special events in and throughout the Boston area hitting up most of the Boston Downtown area clubs. Other than Rumor and Venu; other venues 235 Entertainment have worked at are Gypsy bar, Mantra & Felt.
When 235 Entertainment hosts club nights, Rizz takes all aspects very seriously, from making sure the night is running smoothly and all VIPS are comfortable and having a good to making sure the staff is doing good. He is very sociable and likes to get to know everyone. Because of his conscientiousness and hard work, 235 Entertainment has become very visible throughout the Boston entertainment scene. Being the head promoter and marketing director creates a lot of stress, but at the end of the night Rizz is content because he feels that he has given something back to the people who have showed up for their night.
