I'd like to meet:
Nathan Lane (Who is by far the most talented human being on the PLANET!), John Cusack (He's so hot. I just want to bake him a cake or something.), a kick-ass jazz pianist who can also be patient enough to produce my first album, Woody Allen (because, damn...), a casting agent who will hire me, Lance Bass (I'm serious!), Souske Sagura, Ewan McGregor (If you don't know why, then you won't know why.), Steve Turre (So I can take shell lessons from him and tell him how much i'm not worthy.), Robert Osborn (TCM film historian) and Ben Mankiewicz (the *other* host on TCM, i got questions), St. Francis (to ask about the animals thing), Christopher Guest (So I can beg him to be in one of his fine movies.), Billy Boyd (No, not the porn star. The Scottish guy, in those movies, you know?), Elijah Wood (Dude, he's over 21 now.), Steven Soderbergh, Barry Sonnenfeld and the Coen brothers, (because if they want a brown girl in their movies, shouldn't they just go straight to THE brown girl?)

Music:
Yes. Most of the time. I'm heavily into the jazz thing right now but i listen to everything from pop to ska, i heart the 80s pop action and adore me some hard-bop. Stevie Wonder rocks my world, as does Queen and the overlooked Oscar Levant!
Movies:
i don't think i've seen a movie in a theatre in over 2 years... but, i have three magic letters -- TCM (turner classic movies.) i'm groovin on robert montgomery, cary grant, trevor howard, astaire and rogers, william powell, irene dunne and some william holden action.
Television:
In my spare time, which seems to be a lot, i spend many an hour watching some TCM. From time to time, i change the channel and i gravitate toward a show on Sundance called, Slings and Arrows. I'm still a sucker for the original Iron Chef and wondering what every happened to a little show called, O'grady that was on Nick (or Noggin.) Oh, and of course, i'm such a nut and i need to get my steady doses of BBC America -- and some Mile High action. (when will season 2 start!!?!)
Books:
I read them.
Heroes:
Nathan Lane, Katherine Hepburn, Raul Julia, Batman, My grandfather
