Big Mouth

There's really not much to my story....born and raised in a northern suburb of Chicago...attended Catholic school...the nuns always said I was such a bright student...but I talked too much...received a dance scholarship with Alvin Ailey...was unable to keep my scholarship because my mom was not happy about her baby girl living in NYC...So, she allowed me to go to DC the "chocolate" city instead...oh boy!...she soon had second thoughts about that decision...ANYWHO...graduated from the "mecca" of black institutions with a degree in Criminal Justice...Howard University...the plan was to continue my education and attend law school...but that didn't happen...like 95% of the people in DC...I worked for the government for a HOT second...just wasn't enough money...plus I was tired of dealing with criminals...landed a job with a very large telecom company...Make a long story short...while working for this telecom company...I moved to Dallas...many of my college classmates went on to become big wigs & who's who in the entertainment industry...due to these friendships...I was always up on inside celeb info...(it's a Howard thang)...plus I always seemed to know the hot club spots...one day...my telecom co-workers e-mailed & asked me about some current news item pertaining to some entertainer...at that moment my light bulb went on...I responded to the e-mail & the rest was history...My e-mail distro went from 13 people to 300 people in a matter of 2 months...the concept just spread like wild fire...got picked up by a local video show in Dallas as a VJ...Southern Video Vibe...still my distro continued to grow...utilizing my resources & my gift for gab...I started my own marketing company...Big Mouth Productions SW...Currently...my e-mail blasts are being received in 13 major US cities and the UK...over 14,000 people!...Who would have thought...the little Catholic girl that talked too much would turn that into a career..."Only in America!"
