I am interested in not having shit go wrong. And playing tennis.
People who share the same passion for helping the eyebrow-challenged, and who also share the same disdain for condensation. People who don't care if you are talking too loudly in a small space, b/c chances are, if you are then I am, too. People who aren't afraid to be honest or be themselves. People who know how to laugh. A lot. Especially at themselves. People who live for music and who like making or receiving cd mix tapes. People who like to try new things. I, for instance, tried camping again for the first time in five years and learned that I didn't totally hate it. I don't think the same could be said for hiking, however. People who like to be outside as much as possible. People who like football. Aaaaaaaaand, people, mostly.
Jeff Buckley, The Postal Service, Angels and Airwaves, Arctic Monkeys, Sixpence None the Richer, Theivery Corp, U2, Coldplay, anything lounge-y, John Legend, Norah Jones, Koop, Justin Timberlake, Journey, Zero7, Pearl Jam (old stuff), Tool, Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Bjork, Maroon 5, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Billie Joel, Peter Gabriel. Everyone should check out my friend Julian Velard. He's seriously sexified. And he's on my friends list.
Garden State and Love Actually are my favorite favorites. Here's my list: The Big Lebowski, Amelie, Big Fish, irreverent comedies starring Will Farrell, Adam Sandler, or Vince Vaughn, Goonies, Labrynth, Empire Records, High Fidelity (and most other John Cusack movies,) Overboard, Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, Napolean Dynamite, Ricky Bobby.
Scrubs and 24 are the best television shows ever. America's Next Top Model, American Idol, Law and Order, CSI Miami, Rescue Me, the OC, Nip/Tuck, Family Guy, the Simpsons.
I'm not reading much since I got the DVR. I've gone back to reading Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs, which, if you ever read this part of my profile you'd know that's what I was reading a year ago and never finished. Straight Whisky is the best living history of rock music I have ever read (and I've read a lot.)
My mom. Who else could survive with so few internal organs? Or my dad, for putting up with my mom. Fine, and this guy: (Lucky Fest '06)
