Dice a.k.a Tes La Rok was introduced to a world of electronical music in early nineties thru various mixtapes and radioshows. artists such as Run DMC, Public Enemy, James Brown, Afx, Kraftwerk, Squarepusher, Adam F, Roni Size & Prodigy has been a big inspiration.
Producing has allways been a passion and allready in age of 7-8 he programmed first beats on commodore c64. So yes, you could describe him as a techonology freak :)
His first 'release' wasnt actually a 12" single, but a track in playstation
game called "Tank Racer" which was released in 1996/97. about one year later followed first proper release under Audio Couture label, which is a
sister label to Moving Shadow. Since then there's been a many releases under various labels like Formation, Defunked and his very own Mangofunk Records.
Besides producing, he also run 'Soulfuel' & 'SLAM IT!' clubnights & Radio shows in Helsinki and Estonia. So tune in to Bassoradio in Helsinki or R2 in Estonia.
In 2006 Dice debut album - 'Play It Again LP' was selected in EMA (Estonian Music Awards) as a best electronical Album 2006, a big reward after many years of hard work in studio.
Right Now he is working Under 'Tes La Rok' moniker alongside Dani Rankin and finishing a forthcoming GRIME / RAGGACORE / STREETCRED Album, so stay tuned.
