music, socialising, uni, friends, general fun, man i sound a lot more boring than i actually am, i'm just crap at writing about it all. i'm in a band, narcissus, should be gigging around manchester very soon fingers crossed... we are (in the words of our frontman) "heavy pop glitter synth noise"...
i'm up for meeting most people as long as they dont want my blood... or are complete arseholes. already met my idol (mike portnoy of dream theater) so i dunno - guess i'd like to meet trent reznor of NIN, max cavalera of soulfly... z
im one of the most varied people you could meet, really. i have many different kind of favourites, if i had to pick one it'd have to be nine inch nails (mid career) really. instead of boring everyone with monologue, i'll just list gigs i've been to and a bunch of stuff i have love/respect for...gigs: neal morse (feat. mike portnoy), marilyn manson, muse, dream theater, the offspring, reel big fish + goldfinger, dave weckl, G3, mastodon + hatebreed + slayer + slipknot, kevin bloody wilson, motorhead + sepultura, greenday, rammstein, riverdance, judas priest + scorpions, godskitchen, the australian pink floyd show, chemical brothers, system of a down, nine inch nails, the prodigy, faithless, the secret machines, soulfly, bauhaus, sepultura (again) + in flames, the secret machines (again)...there's much stuff i could list on here which wouldnt cover half my actual taste in music. so here's a few...nine inch nails, the secret machines, muse, dream theater, soulfly, sepultura, deftones, tool, metallica, garbage, goldfrapp, rammstein, radiohead, portishead, chemical brothers, orbital, fugees, michael jackson, 65daysofstatic, apocalyptica, skunk anansie, system of a down, faithless, korn, pulp, pink floyd, queen, etc... just ask!
silence of the lambs trilogy, alien (1 and 2) pulp fiction, one flew over the cuckoo's nest, forrest gump, anything with johnny depp, anything with edward norton cos he's ace. end of. z
anything that doesnt annoy me.
no lies, i havent read a book in over 8 years
1.) nine inch nails' trent reznor. proof for all to see that depression inspires musical creativity. check out the downward spiral album. perfection in my opinion. 2.) some may say controversial, but michael jackson. without doubt in my mind, the best solo artist of all time, and will not be bettered. check out the dangerous album. 3.) mark pusey - check out who i'd like to meet...
