About Me

Born in Chattanooga, raised alternately there and in Atlanta, now living in Knoxville. My neighbors don't like me.

I'm a writer, trying to get by and sell enough books that I get famous and therefore rich and can give up on "real" jobs and drink beer in bars in distant cities where I've gone to give a reading.

But, since that's a difficult order to fill, I work in food service. It's only fitting. At least I really enjoy my job...
Help me live the dream?

the greatest of internet comic strips...

You can view more (and better) at asofterworld.com, or buy their books.  Good stuff.  Look at John, all selflessly plugging someone else's art.  What's he up to?  Look at his eyes....
