About Me

I'm an artist with an engineering degree and I have a thirst for knowledge which I satiate by taking free classes (yet another advantage of my workplace.) My pets include three cats, 2 degus, a Japanese squirrel and about a dozen Eastern Grey squirrels, several of whom live in my attic but don't pay rent - those little cheapskates!
William Blake is one of my favorite poets and I admire the work of John Galliano. I design & make dresses, dance ballet and refuse to watch tv shows about cops, lawyers or doctors. In addition to my career as a statistician (which I truly enjoy,) I'm a freelance photographer , clothes designer and volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Wildlife Rehab Center. I'm a board member of the MN Fringe Festival and Live Action Set and a member of the Metro Regional Arts Council grant review panel.
I like to watch St. Kates' sports and attend almost every home game. I'm comfortable going out alone (to the theater, dinner, concerts, etc.) but would rather do them with someone else. I enjoy all sorts of music but I don't label myself or others by what I or they listen to.
