Hailing from the ocean town of Folly Beach, South Carolina, brothers Peter (vocals/drums) and Jesse (guitar/bgv) Kassa, Glen McKenzie, and newcomer Craig (guitar) Torella shape the Southern-Style punk rock band, Sinister Influence.Formed during high school and seeing a couple line-up changes has only made the band a strongermore cohesive unit. Crafting fast-paced, high energy drumming with furious guitars and commanding vocals, Sinister Influence reinvigorates the blistering speed punk of years past with thoughtful, heartfelt messages of hope, brotherhood, and purpose with occasional love songs to appease the emo kids. Its punk with heart, punk with a purpose.Vocalist Peter Kaasa spent the first few years at the helms of the drums and vocals simultaneously beyondThe boys pay homage to their various influences like Millencolin, Strung Out, and Social Distortion all the while making it their own and relevant in a time that has seem to forgotten the good old days of punk.S.I. is planning on entering 2008 in true DIY style with their self-produced and funded debut album …. that has been nearly 5 years in the making. Rather than flooding the masses with more cookie-cutter emo trash, SinIn spent the last few years fine tuning and tweaking each song to the liking of many loyal fans and friends.
