How Enter Shikari is that?!

About Me

Hello, we are A Legion Of Legomen, winners of Colchester Sixth Form College Battle of the Bands 2007 and the Colchester Battle of the Bands 2007.
Constituted of; Hannah, Dan, Ryan, Firth, Phil and Myles
Hannah pretty much just sings.
Dan plays guitar, his playing is specifically adapted so a melody is produced, generally. And when Myles is not playing bass he fills in the vast void left over from overtly treblely noise created by the rest of his group or 'band'.
Which brings me to my next point; Myles plays bass. He mainly sticks to intrument based music making; to this end he picks up and occasionally plays synthesiser, bass, and guitar. He also presses the play button on the drum machine. Which explains why we play out of time, and some times just wrong. In this event bottles should be directed at him. He also occaisionally dips his feet in the cool icy water known as singing, he, however, frequently drowns. Let's call it the arm-bands stage of vocals.
Firth (known as James to some) creates the unmistakable rhythmic string-hitting sounds, together with some semblance of extra mouth noises. A singing guitarist of sorts, if such a thing is possible.
Due to circumstance, Phil is left as the primary melodic key-presser, producing high pitched percussive electronic sounds from his keyboards. This is not say that circumstance was a bad thing.
And we are left with Ryan. Who whacks taught plastic suspended over a hollow cylinder, and sometimes whacks metal shaped discs, (but always whacks these things to the tempo of you foot tapping). These I have lead to believe are drums. Making Ryan a Drummer.

Existentialism

Is it just me, or is existentialism merely saying the blindingly obvious over and over again. Surely people realised they were free before people like Sartre had the nerve to tell them.   Why the...
