"GOTP's YouTube Classic Video of the Week"
"GOTP LIVE: 88 Miles Per Hour"
About the video: The Video of the Year for 2005 for Get Outta The Pool! It features the band, 88 Miles Per Hour performing their hit song "What Is Real" live from the Skyroom in Bay City, Michigan.
Director's Comments: "I saw these guys for the first time at a Your Best Friend show and I turned to their merch guy at the time and I was like who the fuck is this? They're awesome. Out of all the bands I've had to stay awake to watch in my hometown, 88 blew me away. I had to have them on GOTP, one of the only bands to ever be on the site since the beginning. It's sad to see that they're not longer together..."

GET OUTTA THE POOL! What's up with that?
From Saginaw, Michigan Get Outta The Pool! is NOT A BAND, it is a multimedia website created by longtime friends, Lance Martinez and Dan Krueger. The website showcases their hilarious video taped adventures along with live music videos of their favorite local unsigned and some signed bands. The name Get Outta The Pool! is named after a run in they encountered that summer in Bay City, Michigan. The other two that witnessed this swimming pool mishab, were Dan and Lance's bestfriends Ryan Dzirnis and Ricky Sanchez-Haas who have also joined in on the fun of GOTP
The website debuted, July 4, 2004 and it was an instant success! Everyone was talking about the site, especially the very funny and controversial Stealing Nachos video. Get Outta The Pool reached 1,000 hits in a little over 2 months, making it one of the fastest growing websites on the internet!
We've gotten feedback from fans all over, mainly in our hometown of Saginaw but we've gotten letters from people all over thanks to MySpace and our loyal fans! 2004 was a great first year for us, we were even better in 2005 with our first sorta mini-reality show, Party Boys starring Lance and Ryan which brought their inside jokes to you such as their catch phrase, BOOM-TAT! GOTP's music took the mainstage and brought you bands like The Starting Line , Copeland , 88 Miles Per Hour and we even got backstage at Van's Warped Tour with Mae!
It's been one hell of a journey for us coming from Saginaw, Michigan to HOLLYWOOD. In 2006, moving to a sort of "TV internet-like" direction, GOTP TV was hosted by Ricky Sanchez-Haas to showcase the humorous videos we make. Then on the music portion of our site, Lance Martinez went backstage with the bands of GOTP LIVE, such as: Elegantly Wasted , The Confidence , the star of FOX's "24", Kiefer Sutherland's production Rocco DeLuca & The Burden and we went backstage again to 2006's Vans Warped Tour, only this time it was even bigger! Motion City Soundtrack , The Academy Is , Chiodos , Amber Pacific and our friends of UNDEROATH brought in almost 1,500 MySpace video views only in the course of a couple months! Expect the unexpected in 2007 from GetOuttaThePool.com
