About Me

"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

My Interests

Learning about foreign cultures, amatuer photography, listening to music, cinema, light interest in some sports (namely football or soccer for the Americans ;-)), computer games, trying to learn French, beautiful scenery, deep and meaningful conversation, light interest in philosophy, architecture, art and design. I do also have an interest in how the business sector operates and a passing interest in politics.

I'd like to meet:

Prince, Christian Bale, Girls Aloud, Satoru Iwata (C.E.O. - Nintendo) and Shigeru Miyamoto (brought us so many fabulous games), Christopher Lee, Vincent Price (who for obvious resons I shall never meet), Christopher Nolan, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel (Air).

Music:

The bands I favour the most at this point in time are: Air, Ladytron, Prince, Royksopp, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas, Dondolo and last but not least DAMIEN.

Movies:

Favourites are: Transformers the movie (so many wonderful quotes), Harry Potter series of films, Last of the Mohicans, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Festen, The Shining, Old Boy, Cidade de Deus, Gangs of New York, Napoleon Dynamite, Scarface, The Machinist, Batman Begins, Team America. I think that should suffice for the time being...

Television:

I do watch my fair share of TV but it normally tends to be documentaries. Saying that I do like The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, Little Britain, Q.I., Peep Show, The League of Gentlemen (I especially like Papa Lazarou and Pop), Horizon on BBC tends be rather informative also.

Books:

Harry Potter novels and Bill Bryson's travel biographies.
