Anne from Per Se here. I've got to warn you, Per Se music is VERY serious. So serious, I ruminate over it in solitude for weeks at a time. So serious, I sometimes spend hours channeling its healing energy at my houseplants in order to cause them to flower. So serious, it can't be bought and sold on CD, because its awesomeness is just too sacred.

Just kidding. We're working...very seriously...on a CD.

PDX Pop show review off urbanhonking.com

I always find Per Se's sets totally spellbinding. Her songs are both completely quirkily unique and rooted in lots of old school traditions from 50s doo-wop to ethnic folk to barbershop. These influen...

Funny of them.

The OregonLive/Oregonian website wrote this about Per Se:"Lead singer/songwriter Anne Adams' vocals strike an odd equipoise between being elfin and menacing. The band's sparse and atmospheric music, w...

Nice of them.

A post about yesterday's show from The Willamette Week:[ECLECTIC AND AWESOME] This is an odd, very welcome combination of artists. Per Se is a sedate pop-folk outfit very much in the vein of the alway...
