About Me

To be honest this part doesn't matter because this is a beauty contest and I'm not in the running. But if you must know I enjoying gaming. Mainly World of Warcraft where I have a druid and a few wee alts, I'm in a guild called the Grey Company and they are the zaniest bunch of floons on the planet...this is why I love them so very much. I enjoy music, going to gigs and the like though I haven't been doing this as much lately. At the moment I'm enjoying travelling and escaping for a while. Mainly these are guild meets for World of Warcraft but this is the best thing as you get to build on friendships that are otherwise electronic, so far WoW has taken me to Ireland, England and Estonia with a soon to be Belgium/Holland mix. I love reading, it's another form of escape and keeps the imagination active enough to dream. I work in a call centre on a complaints line and I've become immune to people whinging. In days gone by I used to write and draw. But I don't anymore, I gave that all up about the time I gave up college. At the moment I hold an NC in Television operations and productions but I don't use this at all. I have no life plans or aspirations. All I want is a mild glimmer of happiness and I can find that in lots of odd places.

Music:

I like music very much. And I like very many bands very much. Mainly on my playlist you may find:- Sonata Arctica. Fintroll. Norther. Dragonland. Anathema. White Zombie. Metallica. Pantera. Guns'n'Roses. Queen. Hammerfall. Charon. Society One. Godhead. Mark Lanegan. The Screaming Trees. Mr Bungle. Apocalyptica. Lots of classical music, lots of metal music and lots of different sounds. Give me a good bass line, a good guitar solo and some spine tingly vocals and I'm all happy.

Movies:

Velvet Goldmine, The Crow, Waynes World 1&2, The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, any Disney, any Tim Burton, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Finding Neverland, White Oleander and more.

Books:

Fantasy or fantasy comedy. Sometimes sci-fi. Robert Rankin is brilliant ^_^ and I adore the Dragonlance series.

Heroes:

The people strong enough to hold their heads up high and carry on.
