There is a lesson in everything that we do. Our job is to find it so that we can release it and move

About Me

MyGen Profile GeneratorI am a fitness instructor here in Tallahassee, and work with the Florida Lottery hosting the televised draws. In addition to my TV work, I am the VP of Marketing and Communications for FAB Professionals. I love meeting new people and partaking in new life experiences. I believe that above all else, we are the creators of our own experiences on Earth deliberately or accidentally attracting every person and experience to us. I must admit that I believe the most important attribute in a person is authenticity. I often hear people say this, and as such I think it's lost some meaning. I have the utmost respect for people who roam around this world without judgment and pomp. Some of my favorite people are those who who know how to speak their truth quietly, yet understand the importance of listening to and understanding others. I firmly believe that you can never be a "success" by pretending to be something or someone that you're not. The goal in our life is to become more of who we are, not what others expect us to be. Some have described me as having an ego. Everyone has an ego, but what I am NOT is arrogant-- I do not believe that I am better or more worthy than anyone else. I am just making my way like every other person, and as such recognize the power that can be found in listening to others--we all have our story.

My Interests

I love life. I love learning new things. Finding out new interests. Gaining new experiences. Having new inspirations. I sometimes feel that I can get lost in my own fast flowing life...but, I'm always reminded that I can come back to self for all the knowledge that i'm seeking...

I'd like to meet:

Without even thinking...Oprah. And not just because I aspire to go into television and think she's the best in the biz, but because I think she's given so much back. She's shown people through her own living, learning and growing how to live the best life that we can. That's what it's all about...paying it forward.

Music:

Movies:

The Secret, Celastine Prophecy, What the bleep do we know, The Da Vinci Code are the most recent movies I've seen . . . do we see a pattern??

Television:

On my tivo right now: Oprah, Nip Tuck, Democratic Debates, The View, Designing Women, Real Time with Bill Maher...

Books:

All the Abraham stuff...currently reading Conversations with God. Some amazing stuff!

Heroes:

I define a hero as anyone who has faced what has frightened them most and moved forward with a higher conviction and sense of humanity. Elie Wiesel is the living embodiment of a hero. Certainly all who fought in the civil rights movements for african american's, women and gays are personal heroes of mine.

I don't think that anyone would dismiss the wisdom of the elders in our society.  They possess a kind of knowing that can only come from experience, the only real teacher, and in that knowledge w...
