I love life. I love learning new things. Finding out new interests. Gaining new experiences. Having new inspirations. I sometimes feel that I can get lost in my own fast flowing life...but, I'm always reminded that I can come back to self for all the knowledge that i'm seeking...
Without even thinking...Oprah. And not just because I aspire to go into television and think she's the best in the biz, but because I think she's given so much back. She's shown people through her own living, learning and growing how to live the best life that we can. That's what it's all about...paying it forward.
The Secret, Celastine Prophecy, What the bleep do we know, The Da Vinci Code are the most recent movies I've seen . . . do we see a pattern??
On my tivo right now: Oprah, Nip Tuck, Democratic Debates, The View, Designing Women, Real Time with Bill Maher...
All the Abraham stuff...currently reading Conversations with God. Some amazing stuff!
I define a hero as anyone who has faced what has frightened them most and moved forward with a higher conviction and sense of humanity. Elie Wiesel is the living embodiment of a hero. Certainly all who fought in the civil rights movements for african american's, women and gays are personal heroes of mine.
