I like to draw...it relaxes me.
You. Maybe. An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me...It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, pride and superiority. The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside of you and every other person too."They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"The old Cherokee simply replied..."The one I feed."
My tastes are very eclectic. Everything from Erik Satie to Eric B. & Rakim, and just about everything else in between. My all time favorite song is "Yellow Ledbetter" by Pearl Jam. You could listen to the lyrics over and over, but everytime he performs it, they change a little bit. It's the melody that has me transfixed, sort of like listening to "Little Wing" by SRV.
I like them...for the most part, anyway.
Family Guy, Robot Chicken...shit that will make me laugh.
Eh, I've read a few in my time. We did a lot of reading growing up, and it definitely helped broaden my horizons and imagination. When a child has to use his imagination as much as we did when reading, it raises the bar and the sky's the limit...thanks, mom.
My parents: both for their amazing strength. Marcheline Bertrand, for being such a wonderful human being and her amazing strength, as well.
