About Me

TURTLE BANXX
Turtle Banxx is the new voice of the "Boss Pimp". The classic blend of his deep, baritone voice over bass heavy beats and grooves leads his followers through dark, poetic rhymes of street lure, rider narratives and pimp tales.
Warning: his music is not for the average factory speaker.
Turtle Banxx is classic Chicago "gangsta-pimp shit"; now made famous by the new Southern movement. His sound is very new and timely but fully equipped with the elements and energy of that highly influential sound making it the very definition of classic. His sound has hit the world by storm and will be here for many years to come. The origin of his unique style began in high school.
Born and raised on the gritty West Side of Chicago, Turtle began writing about his experiences, using his natural ability to put these tales in rhyme-form. His peers took notice and he joined the emerging sound that would eventually deliver Do or Die, Crucial Conflict and Twista to the world at large. Never one to "flip" or "twist", he managed to garner, maintain and expand his fan base with slower, engaging rhyme flows and delivery over similar bass heavy sonic backdrops. The buzz compelled Twista to feature Turtle on his national debut, Adrenaline Rush. Turtle would eventually sign with Twista's Legit Ballin Records as a solo artist and later team up with Liffy Stokes and Twista to complete the group: Speednot Mobstaz. The thirst to move forward faster than the Legit Ballin camp had planned, compelled Turtle to separate and move down an independent path that would eventually bring him to partner with his long time collaborators and friends: Qualo and The Movement.
